Thomas Weaver Chosen as a Nominee to Fill Vacancy on Eastern District Missouri Court of Appeals

Thomas Weaver is one of three selected by the Appellate Judicial Commission as a nominee to fill retiring Judge Booker Shaw on the Eastern District Missouri Court of Appeals.

Under the Missouri Non-Partisan Court Plan, the Appellate Judicial Commission reviews applications and submits three nominees to the governor. Governor Nixon will then choose one among the three who will fill the vacancy. If he doesn't make a choice, the commission makes it.
