Rising Star.Super
Lawyers is an annual listing of outstanding lawyers who have attained a high
degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selection for Super
Lawyers includes peer nominations, a blue ribbon panel review process and
independent research on candidates. Rising Stars is a list of the state's
top young attorneys. Selection for Rising Stars is the same as the
Super Lawyers selection process except that candidates must be 40 years
old or younger or in practice for ten years or less and do not go through the
peer evaluation by practice area process.
In
addition, Steven N. Cousins, Daniel K. O’Toole and Thomas B. Weaver were named
to the list of The Top 50 lawyers in St. Louis based on highest point totals in
the nomination, research and blue ribbon review process. Edward R. Spalty was
named to list of The Top 100 lawyers based on point totals.
The
Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists appear in the 2009
Missouri & Kansas Super Lawyers magazine.
