Armstrong Teasdale Announces Five New Partners

Armstrong Teasdale LLP announces the addition of Susan K. Ehlers, Laura J. Hilmert, Gregory A. Iken, Tyson H. Ketchum and Bryan D. Nicholson to its partnership effective January 1, 2010.

Susan K. Ehlers (St. Louis) is a member of the Financial Services group, the firm's national banking, bankruptcy and debtor/creditor practice. She received her J.D. degree from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2000 and her B.A. degree from Indiana University in 1997. She is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the American Bankruptcy Institute and the Female Bankruptcy Attorneys for the Eastern District of Missouri.

Laura J. Hilmert (St. Louis) is a member of the Intellectual Property practice group and her primary focus is on the counseling of clients in the biological, chemical and life sciences fields. She received her J.D. degree from the Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington, cum laude, in 2001 and her B.S. degree from Indiana University – Bloomington in 1998. She is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Gregory A. Iken (St. Louis) is a member of the Litigation practice group and his primary focus is on the defense of toxic/mass tort personal injury claims, product liability and commercial litigation. He received his J.D. degree and Certificate in International and Comparative Law from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2001 and his B.S. degree from Northwestern University in 1997. He is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Illinois State Bar Association, the State Bar of Nevada, the Defense Research Institute and the Madison County Bar Association.

Tyson H. Ketchum (Kansas City) is a member of the Litigation practice group and his primary focus is tort defense and commercial litigation. He received his J.D. degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia School of Law in 2000 and his B.S. degree from Truman State University in 1996. He is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Kansas Bar Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association (Member of the Board of Directory) and the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers.

Bryan D. Nicholson (St. Louis) is a member of the Litigation practice group and focuses on the defense of toxic/mass tort personal injury claims as well as construction litigation. He received his J.D. degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law in 2001 and his B.S. degree from Truman State University in 1997. He is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Illinois State Bar Assocation, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, the American Bar Association, the Madison County Bar Association and the St. Clair County Bar Association.
