Quinn Murphy, Daniel Sakaguchi, John McAnnar Join Armstrong Teasdale's Litigation Group

Armstrong Teasdale LLP, a prominent full-service corporate firm, announces the arrival of Quinn Murphy and Daniel Sakaguchi, both of counsel, and John McAnnar, an associate, to its Litigation practice group. Murphy and Sakaguchi formerly practiced in the St. Louis office of Sonnenschein Nath & Rosenthal LLP.

Murphy has significant experience in the areas of commercial litigation, including general business, construction, and health care litigation. He also has extensive experience in mediation and arbitration techniques. He received his J.D., cum laude, in 2002 from Saint Louis University School of Law and his M.B.A. and B.A. from Drury University in 1998 and 1996 respectively. He is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Illinois State Bar Association, The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the American Bar Association.

Sakaguchi’s concentrates on commercial, intellectual property, construction, ERISA and telecommunications litigation. Before entering private practice, he worked as a public defender in Missouri and California. Sakaguchi received his J.D. in 2002 from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law (Boalt Hall), his M.A. in 1999 and his B.A., magna cum laude, in 1995, also from the University of California, Berkeley. He is a member of The Missouri Bar, the Missouri Asian American Bar Association (Board of Directors, President 2008-2009), the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

McAnnar, whose practice focuses on contracts, complex commercial and tort law, received his J.D., magna cum laude, from Saint Louis University School of Law in 2009 and his B.A., cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh in 2005. He is a member of The Missouri Bar and The Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. McAnnar is the co-founder and current Director of Development of ArchCity Defenders, Inc. (ACD), a non-profit corporation dedicated to providing free holistic legal counsel to the indigent.
