Chinese Lawyer Jia You Rejoins Armstrong Teasdale

Armstrong Teasdale LLP announces that Jia “Holly” You has returned to the firm as an associate in the St. Louis office, bringing a wide range of corporate/commercial transactions, employment law, and intellectual property experience. You previously worked in the firm’s Shanghai and St. Louis offices.

A member of the International practice group, You focuses in key areas of international business, including cross-border transactions involving both foreign inbound investors and the growing number of U.S. corporations that are expanding their interests overseas. Additionally, she has significant experience on various intellectual property matters, including trademark prosecution, opposition, cancellation, trademark, and domain name dispute resolution as well as intellectual property agreements and patent issues.

You joins Armstrong Teasdale after spending the last year and a half practicing in Milwaukee with one of the firm’s China Alliance partners, Michael Best & Friedrich LLP.

You earned her LL.M., with high honors, from Chicago-Kent College of Law and her LL.B., with honors, from East China University of Politics and Law. She graduated from an Amsterdam Vrije University Exchange Program in 2003. You is licensed in the Peoples Republic of China and New York.
