Armstrong Teasdale Managing Partner Michael Chivell Named USLFG President

Michael A. Chivell, managing partner of Armstrong Teasdale LLP, has been elected president of The United States Law Firm Group® (USLFG®), a network of 18 independent firms with more than 5,900 lawyers operating globally.

Chivell will serve as president for a one year term ending in February 2011. He served as president elect for one year before becoming president.

An experienced corporate finance and real estate attorney, Chivell has been managing partner of Armstrong Teasdale since 2007. He also serves as counsel to the board of directors of many privately held and non-profit corporations.

Chivell is listed in The Best Lawyers in America in real estate law; Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers and Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business in corporate mergers and acquisitions. He received his J.D., with distinction, from the University of Iowa School Law and his B.A., cum laude, from Illinois Wesleyan University.
