Armstrong Teasdale Helps Businesses Through the Missouri Trade Initiative
March 9, 2010
More than 90 businesses will be receiving letters from Senator Kit Bond inviting them to participate in the Missouri Trade Initiative (MTI), a program designed to provide Missouri companies a business plan to increase their export sales.
Small- to medium-sized companies who are either just beginning to export their products or have the potential to expand their current exports into new global markets were targeted. Organizations including Armstrong Teasdale, Commerce Bank, Export-Import Bank of the U.S., FedEx, Missouri Department of Economic Development, Missouri Enterprise, Springfield Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Commercial Service, U.S. Small Business Administration, and the World Trade Center St. Louis will provide free counseling sessions to companies that participate. Each company will be presented with a plan to increase their exports in current markets and develop new markets for their products and services.
